this might be a small niche but as someone who already owns a good pair of IEMs, I am much more interested in just the mic/cable. Are there any plans for a mic only version?

Yeah, we are looking into it. We’ve seen the feedback from the community on Joshua’s videos and your question here so we are actively discussing offering just the cable as a standalone as well.

I really want that too, i currently use a very scuffed setup by taking mic from a pair of logitech headphones i used to use and have taped them to a pencil then stuck it in my hat. I would much prefer something like this that i can connect my iems too.

I love the macgyverness of it though

I love it to cause it makes my friends question my sanity but having to cables coming from different directions isnt perfect.

Yess i agree, and also i feel like this company is gonna blow up like wooting did with their keyboard but this time not because they produce the best device out there but rather because of this genuis idea plus the communication with their community. Hence why i HIGHLY suggest them to open a Discord Server. Wooting is doing an Exceptional work by standing close to their user community which has lead the actual product becoming even better than what it used to be. I wish Apos the best here !!

Thanks! We’ve discussed a discord server many (manymany) times and we always end up kind of split on it.

On the plus side, love the open back and forth communication it enables. People can pop in, chat with each other, ask questions, and it’s all nice and quick.

The downsides to us is largely just the other side of the same coin. Conversations move on super fast, it’s difficult to post things of substance compared to quick blurbs, moderation becomes more important, and finding things again is nearly impossible.

Ultimately, we really like Discord for a lot of reasons, but we’d like to see if an old fashioned forum still has a place in the world. We’d like to think there is, though we’re probably biased since most of us are old(ish).

That said, we’re not super opposed so if after a bit it’s clear that everyone really wants a Discord server instead then we’ll definitely revisit the decision.

Thanks again for the kind words!

Hi you have no idea how excited I am for this product for work calls. I hate how goofy I look in a suit with a gaming headset on. This is the closest I’ve seen a headset approach a professional broadcaster mic in forever.

Will they be compatible with Xbox series x/s?

Yes. You would just be plugging the IEMs into the Xbox controller using the 3.5mm TRRS connector on the IEM cable.

Is the cable just a Kinera Gramr Pro, with an improved boom mic? Also, since the mic will be mounted on the left side, the “L” and “R” seems unnecessary. Maybe replace with the “Codec” logo and/or “AXJV.” And make both black and cream versions have the creamsicle orange font.

That’s a good point about the mic and R/L…

Rest of the points are solid also.

Are there any plans to have different cable lengths available? Having different options available with longer cable lengths would help accommodate a wider variety of computer setups.

I speculate there may be some constraints based purely on the sheer number that would need to be produced, but it’s a good call out. Will flag it for the gang @kunal @thomas

Yeah, it just comes down to SKU management and MOQs on various cable lengths. If we see enough demand to do one off lengths, we’ll work to make them happen.

Good morning, I saw Joshua’s video and got interested. I was looking for headphones/headsets because the cables on my headsets broke and I can’t remove them -_- and I came across these new IEMs from the brand and joshua that come with a microphone. I found them interesting, and since I don’t have much money to spend (the video mentioned they’re around €80), I really liked the design and microphone quality. But I have a question: if I don’t like having IEMs in my ears, will there be any way to return them? I’ve never used IEMs before idk if i like it .

Hi! Yes, you would be able to return them. Apos has a 45-day Return Policy that you can refer to here: Apos Audio 45-day return policy

So I’m new to IEMs… and especially those with a mic. Do these terminate to a single TRRS ending? I use a FiiO K13 headphone amp, which does not have a mic input. Would I be expected to get a TRRS splitter to feed the audio output & mic input between my amp and my PC? Am I overthinking this? lol

I am really excited about these!
