Merlin's USB no longer working with Eversolo DMP-A6

Hello all,

I’m using a Merlin/Gremlin setup with Eversolo DMP-A6 streamer using the USB-C input.

It was working a while back but not anymore.
Now the USB connection to Merlin is no longer recognized (A6 showing the option greyed out/USB not detected).
Tried different cables, even bought a new one USB-A to USB-C cable but no diff.

Tried using a MacBook Air as an alternate source, it doesn’t recognize the USB connection to Merlin either.

Merlin’s USB light is on.

For the time being, I’m using the Coax SPDIF connection from A6.

Any help or suggestions?

Hmm appreciate the detailed troubleshooting history. Sounds like the USB port isn’t working, but I haven’t encountered that before so let me flag this internally and see if anyone has any ideas.

Did you ever try it with your Macbook before this? Curious if that is also a confirmed “used to work and now it doesn’t” thing.
