The Meze house sound wasn’t broken there was zero wrong with it it provided an alternative to all the other totl headphones that prioritize “audiophile” tuning instead of being musical and dynamic and energetic instead of reference monitoring…
Anyway I didn’t like the empy 2, poet or 99 v2 and they release something in the same sound profile it’s just 
I really used to love Meze but they have gone downhill just because some “professional reviewers” prefer neutral presentation doesn’t make it the end all be all..
They still make exceptionally comfortable headphones with superior build quality yes but their audio philosophy is going the wrong way imo
I agree with you. They make great products, they are well engineered, but their recent releases just feel more of the same. I am still waiting on them to push the envelope.
