I am wondering if Apos opens boxes of the Druid to check them or something? I just received my much anticipated Druid DAC but was disappointed to see that the seal was broken and the box opened. I’m not even going to connect it until I find what’s up with that. I didn’t order discounted model due to open box.
Hmm it’s possible the units are inspected, but let me tag in @kunal to confirm if there’s any kind of process that would open the box.
The only explanation is that customs randomly opened the box for checking. We don’t have any used units for the Druid as these are just coming off the production line. All QC happens before they are packed and not after. Can you please reach out to support@apos.audio and they’ll get you a return label and a new one sent out to you right away. Thanks.
